Rove Miles is expanding its rewards program, allowing members to convert their points to four new partners, including Virgin Atlantic. This is a fantastic opportunity for travel enthusiasts.

Rove Miles' New Partners

This April, Rove Miles announced four exciting new ways for members to utilize their travel reward points. They have partnered with Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red, as well as Scandinavian Airlines EuroBonus and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank. Now, members can convert their Rove points to all four of these programs at a 1:1 ratio.

To celebrate this new partnership, Rove is offering an additional 20% bonus on points transferred to SAS until April 8th.

New Ways to Use Rove Points

Sounds appealing, right? The Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is known for its competitive reward pricing, with flights across the Atlantic starting at just 6,000 points. You can also use these points for hotel bookings and other travel services.

Virgin Red allows members to redeem points for experiences like cruises, sightseeing tours, movie tickets, and more. However, using points for non-travel experiences often doesn't provide the best value.

Rove's CEO, Max Morganroth, shared: "With Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red, members have the chance to experience some of the most exciting rewards in the world." Members can transfer and combine points between these two programs.

Joining SkyTeam and the Point Transfer Process

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is now an official member of the SkyTeam alliance, having left Star Alliance in 2024. This means you can use EuroBonus to book reward flights on SkyTeam partner airlines like Delta Air Lines, Air France, and Virgin Atlantic.

Japan Airlines miles can be quite challenging to earn, as the Mileage Bank program has limited transfer partners. Currently, Bilt Points is the only credit card that transfers to JAL at a 1:1 ratio, while Capital One transfers at a rate of 2:1.5. The ability to convert Rove points at a 1:1 ratio opens up opportunities for travelers to enjoy some of the most attractive rewards from Japan Airlines, such as the new first-class A350 suite from the U.S. to Japan, starting at just 70,000 miles each way.

About Rove Miles

Launched in 2025, Rove Miles is a relatively new loyalty program that allows members to earn and use miles for flights and hotel stays without requiring a travel credit card. In addition to redeeming points through Rove's travel portal, members can also transfer their miles to various other loyalty programs.

The four new transfer partners have increased Rove's total number of partners to 17, including:

  • Aeromexico Rewards
  • Accor Live Limitless
  • Air France-KLM Flying Blue
  • Air India Maharaja Club
  • Cathay Pacific Cathay
  • Etihad Guest
  • Finnair Plus
  • Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club
  • Japan Airlines Mileage Bank
  • Lufthansa Miles & More
  • Qatar Airways Privilege Club
  • SAS EuroBonus
  • Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus
  • Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
  • Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
  • Virgin Red

Points are generally converted to most of these programs at a 1:1 ratio (except ALL at a 1.5:1 ratio), and Rove frequently runs promotional transfer programs to enhance the value of your points. Currently, Rove is offering a 20% bonus when transferring to SAS for a limited time. This means that for every 1,000 Rove miles you convert, you'll receive 1,200 EuroBonus points instead of the usual 1,000. However, you'll need to act quickly; this promotion ends on April 8th.

Conclusion

Although Rove Miles is designed for younger travelers and those who don't use credit cards, it can still attract point and mile enthusiasts with these new transfer partners. If you're looking to earn up to 28 points for every dollar spent when staying at hotels or participating in hotel loyalty programs, consider joining Rove. Moreover, new members who sign up through TPG's link before April 10th have the chance to receive 1,500 bonus miles just for registering.
