For instance, the expansion of the Albright-Knox Art Museum, backed by a $230 million budget, and the $180 million fund from the state for waterfront improvements are just a couple of examples.
Additionally, preserving Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural legacy through the renovation of the Darwin Martin House and the construction of a new visitor center at Graycliff Estates has received $56 million in investment. All of this shows that Buffalo is steadily becoming a noteworthy destination.

As a local, I’ll tell you that winters in Buffalo can be long, cold, and dark, making the best time to visit between May and October to experience the city at its finest. Summers are delightful with pleasant weather, averaging around 75-80°F, perfect for biking around the city, relaxing in parks, or enjoying festivals like Music is Art.

Autumn is also a fantastic time for hiking, museum visits, and admiring the fall foliage. If you love skiing, don’t miss Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, just over an hour’s drive away.
Getting to Buffalo
Direct flights to Buffalo are available from airlines like Southwest, JetBlue, Delta, United, and Frontier from major East Coast and Midwest cities, as well as from other popular tourist destinations. If you're flying from the West Coast or internationally, you may need to stop at major hubs like Atlanta, Phoenix, or Chicago.
