When I first planned a trip to Niagara Falls with my family, I had no idea how many fun activities we could enjoy with the kids. We spent three days there, but honestly, we could have easily extended our stay since there were so many experiences we didn’t get to try. From 10 AM to 9 PM, we were constantly busy exploring. One of the most memorable moments was watching the fireworks from our hotel room at night.

Helicopter Ride Over the Falls

One of the most unforgettable experiences at Niagara was seeing the falls from above on a helicopter ride. I was a bit worried about the kids since it was their first time flying in a helicopter, but thankfully, they absolutely loved it and weren’t scared at all. The view of the falls from above is truly a perspective you can’t miss.

Close-Up Boat Tour of the Falls

Be sure to hop on the Niagara City Cruise for a chance to get up close to the waterfalls. It can get a little wet, but feeling the mist from the falls is incredibly refreshing. If you prefer to stay dry, you can opt for the “Light-Mist” experience in the evening.

Visit Bird Kingdom

If you’re an animal lover, you must check out Bird Kingdom. Just a few minutes' walk from the falls, it’s a place where the kids get really excited about feeding the Lorikeets. It’s also a fantastic option for rainy days or chilly winter afternoons.

Explore Clifton Hill

Known as the “Street of Fun,” Clifton Hill offers a wide array of activities, including mini-golf, amusement parks, and the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. Make sure to try out the Clifton Hill Fun Pass to save on costs while maximizing your fun!

For panoramic views of Niagara, head up to Skylon Tower. Visiting in the evening is a treat, as you’ll get to see the entire city sparkle while fireworks light up the sky.

Our journey to Niagara Falls was truly the right choice for our family. These new and exciting experiences not only left a lasting impression on us but also sparked the kids’ curiosity about the world around them. Even though we only had three days, I’m sure these memories will remain with us forever.
