The Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite card is a high-end personal credit card under the Atmos Rewards loyalty program, which is a collaboration between Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines. Issued by Bank of America, this card is among the most valuable options I have ever encountered.

Currently, the card features an incredibly appealing welcome offer, perhaps even better than its previous launch. If you're considering applying for this card, now is definitely the perfect time.

Welcome Offer and Annual Fee

The Atmos Rewards Summit card is currently offering a limited-time welcome bonus structured as follows: receive a 50% discount code for eligible flights upon account opening, and earn 100,000 Atmos Rewards points along with a Global Companion Award worth 25,000 points after spending $6,500 in the first 90 days.

I value Atmos Rewards points at approximately 1.5 cents each, meaning that 100,000 points are worth around $1,500. Additionally, the Global Companion Award can be used to reduce the fare by 25,000 points for a companion, which I also estimate to have a real value of about $375.

Eligibility for the Atmos Rewards Summit Card

The Atmos Rewards Summit card is issued by Bank of America. The good news is that the eligibility criteria for this card are not dependent on whether you already hold another Atmos Rewards card. You can still apply for this card (including the welcome offer) even if you have another Atmos Rewards product like the Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature or the Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature Business card.

It’s also worth noting that you may qualify for this product if you have previously held any card from the Alaska Mileage Plan or HawaiianMiles. Bank of America isn't overly strict with its card approval guidelines.

Annual Fee and Authorized User Fees

The Atmos Rewards Summit card comes with an annual fee of $395. While this fee is relatively high, it is still much lower compared to other premium credit cards, and the value it offers is exceptionally attractive.

What's particularly special is that you can add authorized users to the card at no additional cost, and their spending will also help you accumulate rewards points.

Rewards Structure of the Atmos Rewards Summit Card

The Atmos Rewards Summit card showcases an outstanding rewards structure with attractive earning potentials. Not only do you earn points from spending, but you also have the opportunity to earn status points and the Global Companion Award.

3x Points for Purchases with Alaska and Hawaiian

The Atmos Rewards Summit card offers 3x points on purchases of airline tickets from Alaska and Hawaiian. If you frequently fly with either of these airlines, the benefits from your spending will be quite valuable.

3x Points for International Transactions

The Atmos Rewards Summit card also provides 3x points for international transactions. In my opinion, this is one of the most attractive offers I have seen from a credit card. It includes transactions in foreign currencies as well as USD if the transaction occurs outside of the United States.

3x Points for Dining Expenses

The card also grants 3x points for dining expenses worldwide. This is a fantastic category, and while many other credit cards offer dining rewards, I believe many people will want to use this card for their restaurant spending.

3x Points for Rent Payments via Bilt (3% Fee)

Bilt and Atmos Rewards have established a partnership. You can transfer points from Bilt to Atmos Rewards, but even more exciting, you can pay your rent using the Atmos Rewards Summit card. You'll incur a 3% fee, but you'll earn 3x Atmos Rewards points on this spending, up to $50,000 per year.

1x Points for Other Eligible Transactions

The Atmos Rewards Summit card offers 1x points for all other eligible transactions. While this may not be an impressive number, it remains a reasonable option when considering the potential to earn status points and the Global Companion Award.

Earning Status Points Through Spending

For those aiming to achieve elite status in the Atmos Rewards program, the Atmos Rewards Summit card is a top choice. For every $2 spent, you will earn 1 status point. There is no limit to the number of status points you can earn.

Global Companion Award of 100K with Spending

There is another enticing offer from the Atmos Rewards Summit card. If you spend at least $60,000 in a year, you will qualify for the Global Companion Award worth 100,000 points. This award can be used to discount fares for a companion on your travels.
