Louisville, Kentucky

In Louisville, May is the time for the Kentucky Derby, the biggest sporting event of the year, accompanied by numerous exciting festivals and activities. Tens of thousands flock to Churchill Downs, not only to watch the horse races but also to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of fashion and fun. You don’t have to be a horse racing expert; just pick a beautiful horse to bet on and enjoy the lively ambiance.

If you can’t make it to the Derby, you can still explore the rich culinary scene here. Louisville is renowned for its quality restaurants, which have even been featured on the show "Top Chef." A must-visit spot is the Evan Williams Experience, where you can learn about whiskey culture and taste some of Kentucky’s famous spirits.
