Atmos Rewards: An Exciting New Program

In 2025, Alaska Airlines launched the Atmos Rewards loyalty program alongside Hawaiian Airlines. This program retains the beloved features of Alaska's previous offerings, such as the ability to use earned points with partners and a global network. Notably, Atmos Rewards allows members to choose how they earn points and achieve status.

Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® Credit Card

This program also introduces a premium credit card tailored for Alaska and Oneworld fans. The card comes with an enticing offer: earn 80,000 bonus points and a companion fare for just $99 (excluding taxes and fees starting at $23) after spending $4,000 in the first 120 days of account opening.

Atmos Rewards Airline Partners

Atmos Rewards collaborates with various airlines, including Oneworld members like American Airlines, British Airways, and Cathay Pacific. The list of other airline partners is extensive, featuring carriers from Aer Lingus to Qatar Airways.

Elite Status and Benefits

The Atmos Rewards program comprises four tiers of elite status, each offering different benefits. To reach the highest tier, members must accumulate between 20,000 and 135,000 status points. Notably, Platinum and Titanium members will have a head start on earning status points for 2027 starting now.

About Atmos Communities

Beginning in late 2026, Atmos Rewards will introduce new communities where members can join themed groups and enjoy additional benefits. Some announced communities include Culinary Journeys and Active Escapes.

How to Earn Elite Status

Atmos Rewards members have three options for accumulating status points: based on flight distance, spending, or the number of flights taken. You can change your earning method only once a year, and if no choice is made, the system will default to the spending method.

How to Accumulate Atmos Rewards Points

You can earn Atmos Rewards points when flying with Alaska, Hawaiian, or other airline partners. Points are accumulated based on flight distance, spending, or flight count, depending on your chosen method.

Non-Airline Partners

Atmos Rewards also partners with various non-airline businesses, such as Avis and Budget, where you can earn points when renting cars, as well as hotel chains like Best Western and Marriott. These partnerships expand members' earning potential.

Everyday Partners

In addition to airline partners, you can earn points through everyday spending at popular brands like Nike and Apple via Atmos Rewards Dining and Shopping. This program offers you opportunities to accumulate points from your daily activities.

Atmos Rewards Credit Card

With the Atmos Rewards credit card, you can amass a significant number of points. Some cards, like the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite®, feature attractive offers for new applicants. After reaching a certain spending threshold, you can earn a substantial amount of bonus points, rapidly boosting your account balance.
