About the Yachts

Currently, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection boasts three vessels, one of which is significantly smaller than the others:

• Evrima: The first ship, launched in 2021, weighs 25,400 tons, measures 624 feet in length, and features 149 suites accommodating up to 298 guests.
• Ilma: The second vessel, set to launch in 2024, weighs 46,750 tons, spans 791 feet, and offers 224 suites for 448 guests.
• Luminara: The third ship, expected to debut in 2025, also weighs 46,750 tons, is 790 feet long, and includes 226 suites for 452 guests.

While these ships are still considered yachts (the term “yacht” might be a bit of a stretch), they are notably smaller than what you typically find in the cruise industry today.

Amenities on Board

If you prefer a more intimate cruising experience, Evrima is the perfect choice. Though Ilma and Luminara are larger, they also come with a host of appealing amenities. For instance, Evrima features:

• A variety of dining options, including: The Evrima Room (the main restaurant serving all-day dining), S.E.A. (a specialty restaurant with an additional fee), Talaat Nam (Southeast Asian cuisine), The Pool House (casual dining), Mistral (Mediterranean fare), and The Living Room (a lounge area for drinks and snacks).
• A Ritz-Carlton Spa with five treatment rooms, a beauty salon, a men’s grooming salon, a sauna, steam room, relaxation area, and a gym open 24/7.
• Additional amenities such as a marina, a pool with a hot tub, a kids' club, a designated smoking area, and scenic viewpoints.

Accommodations on Board

All accommodations in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection are classified as suites with ocean views and private terraces. The Terrace Suites are the entry-level option, featuring 300 square feet of space and 54-81 square feet of outdoor area. The most luxurious choice is the Owner’s Suite, which boasts 1,091 square feet indoors and 635 square feet outdoors.

Itineraries and Destinations

Like many other luxury cruise lines, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection primarily operates in the Caribbean during winter and Europe in summer. Weekly itineraries vary, and detailed information about the journeys is readily available. Cruises typically last from 5 to 11 nights, with some shorter or longer options also offered. Exciting new routes have been added, expanding beyond the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Luminara, the newest ship, will mainly operate in Alaska and Asia, which is quite enticing. Meanwhile, Evrima offers intriguing itineraries to Iceland, French Polynesia, Hawaii, and many other destinations.

The ticket prices for Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruises vary significantly, depending on the type of journey you choose. Prices are per person and typically based on double occupancy. If you’re traveling solo, you’ll pay 200% of the fare, essentially doubling the cost for a single traveler.

To give you an idea of the price range, one of the most affordable options is a 15-night Pacific crossing starting at approximately $9,700 per person (equivalent to $647 per day), while the most luxurious cruise is a 5-day journey to Iceland with a starting price of $9,800 per person (about $1,960 per day).
