Discovering the Air France Lounge at Montreal Airport
During my flight from Montreal to Paris on an Air France Boeing 787-9, I had the chance to visit the Air France Lounge at Montreal Airport. Stepping inside felt like entering a private oasis, where comfort meets modern style amidst stunning views.
Convenient Location
The Air France Lounge is situated in the international terminal, near gate 57. To gain access, you’ll need to be flying internationally to destinations outside of the U.S., as there’s a separate area for cross-border flights. After passing through security, simply turn left and follow the signs to gate 57.
Operating Hours
This lounge opens daily from 5 AM to 10 PM. In the afternoons, it primarily serves passengers on connecting flights with Air France and KLM, which can lead to busier periods. However, it also opens early to accommodate Priority Pass members and other access agreements.
Access Requirements
The lounge mainly caters to Air France and KLM passengers, as well as SkyTeam business class members and Elite Plus members. If you hold a Priority Pass, you can also enter, but your stay is limited to a maximum of 2 hours, and access may be restricted during peak times.
Space Design
The Air France Lounge isn’t overly large, measuring about 490 square meters with a maximum capacity of 149 guests. The modern space is flooded with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. Most of the area consists of a large rectangular room with a buffet and bar located in the center.

Seating Areas
There are various seating options available, from coffee tables to oversized armchairs, ensuring you can easily find the most comfortable spot. The bar area features high stools and communal tables, perfect for meeting friends. Near the entrance, there’s also a workspace with a view to the outside.
Culinary Offerings
The menu here is impressively diverse. I noticed a variety of cold dishes like salads and charcuterie, along with hot offerings such as beef braised in red wine and creamy tomato pasta. Everything is beautifully presented, enhancing the dining experience.
Drinks
The bar area offers an array of beverages. During my visit, I tried a negroni and was quite pleased with its quality. The drink menu may vary throughout the day, with an enticing selection of cocktails available in the evening.
Restrooms and Showers
The lounge also features well-appointed restrooms and shower facilities. Each restroom is designed for privacy, providing a more personal experience compared to many public airport restrooms. The showers are compact but convenient for guests looking to freshen up before their flight.
Conclusion
The Air France Lounge at Montreal Airport is an ideal spot for anyone waiting for a flight. With its modern design, beautiful views, delicious food, and excellent drinks, it truly offers a memorable experience. If you find yourself here, be sure to stop by!
