Supermarket Opening Hours for Chinese New Year
NTUC Supermarket
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - Many supermarkets will be open 24 hours or until 11 PM for late-night shopping. However, some locations may close as early as 5 PM.
On the first day (February 17) - Most stores will close by 5 PM.
On the second day (February 18) - Most stores will return to regular operating hours.
Cold Storage Supermarket
This supermarket will remain open throughout the Chinese New Year 2026, except for the branch at Takashimaya, which will be closed.
Giant Supermarket
From February 12 to 18 - All stores will be open during the festive period, with most operating 24 hours.
Sheng Siong Supermarket
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - All stores will close by 4 PM.
On the first day (February 17) - Some stores will be closed, while a few will open from 8 AM to 6 PM.
On the second day (February 18) - Regular business hours will resume.

On New Year's Eve (February 16) - All stores will open an hour earlier, but closing times remain unchanged. The HarbourFront branch will be open from 8 AM to 11 PM.
Scarlett Supermarket
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - The branches at People's Park Complex, Geylang, and AMK 710A will be open 24 hours. Other stores will operate from 9 AM to 5 PM or 9 PM.
Meidi-Ya Supermarket
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - The branches at Millenia Walk and Great World City will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM. From February 17 to 18 - Closed. On the third day (February 19) - Business as usual.
Dining and Café Opening Hours
Yakun
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - Most outlets will start closing between 2:30 PM and 4 PM. Changi Airport will remain open late.
Killiney Kopitiam
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - Most outlets will be closed. A few may open but with shorter hours.
Heavenly Wang
On New Year's Eve (February 16) - Most outlets will be open until 5 PM to 8 PM, with some branches closing at 3 PM.
