Introducing OCVIBE

In the heart of Anaheim, known primarily for Disneyland, an ambitious project called OCVIBE is currently under construction in Orange County. This will be the largest entertainment hub in the United States, expected to attract tourists while also creating a vibrant living space for the Southern California community.

Exploring OCVIBE Upon Completion

Spanning 95 to 100 acres, OCVIBE will feature modern event spaces, a diverse food hall, lush public parks, and three miles of pedestrian walkways. Notably, there will be a concert space with a capacity for over 5,000 people, optimized for sound and visitor experience.

Food lovers can look forward to more than 35 new restaurants, including the vibrant Katella Commons food market, which will showcase 21 stalls from various chefs.

Public Spaces and Amenities

With a pleasant climate year-round, OCVIBE will offer visitors 20 parks and plazas. These open, free, and friendly spaces will create a “downtown” that Orange County truly deserves.

Additionally, over three miles of walkways will connect different parts of the complex, providing convenient access without the need for cars.

Plans for Hotels and Residential Areas

The current plan includes two on-site hotels set to open before 2028, offering 500 environmentally friendly hotel rooms. However, OCVIBE is not just focused on tourism; it will also include over 2,000 apartments, with 15% allocated for affordable housing.

The goal of OCVIBE is not only to serve as a gathering place for locals but also to attract visitors from all around. Attendees of concerts and sporting events will have the chance to explore this exciting new complex.

Transportation and Connectivity

OCVIBE is being developed around the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), making it easy for residents to access the area via public transportation. ARTIC is a major transit hub connecting Amtrak, Metrolink, and several local and regional bus services.

While the economic benefits for residents will only be fully realized once OCVIBE is completed, the project is anticipated to bring significant economic advantages to the area, including $9.2 million in tax revenue for Anaheim and $255 million in public benefits.

Currently, the plan is to complete the entire area by 2028. Certain phases, such as the public parks, could be finished sooner, potentially by early 2027. The upcoming Olympic Games will also serve as an ideal opportunity to introduce OCVIBE to visitors.
