Join me as we explore Ferguson Apple Orchard in Galesville, Wisconsin, where family fun and the essence of autumn come together beautifully! Upon arrival, my friend and I exclaimed in unison, "Wow, this place is stunning!" Surrounded by rolling hills, rows of vibrant green apple trees, and bright red farm buildings, the orchard creates a picture-perfect scene that embodies the charm of the countryside.

Not only is the scenery breathtaking, but the activities here are incredibly diverse. We spent the entire day wandering and participating in family-friendly events. From apple and pumpkin picking to various exciting farm games, everyone found something enjoyable to partake in.

Highlight Activities at the Orchard

I was particularly excited about apple picking. With a basket in hand, I stepped into the orchard, where a whopping 400,000 apple trees were waiting for me. After filling our baskets, we visited the farmer's market, overflowing with delicious treats ranging from fresh produce to baked goods and jams. Don't forget to try the fresh apple donuts—they're a must!

Strolling through the sunflower fields was an amazing experience. The vibrant colors and stunning scenery made me feel like I had stepped into a beautiful dream. Next, I popped into the 'bubble barn' to create and pop giant bubbles. A little tip: bring some wet wipes, as things can get a bit sticky and wet in there!

Exciting Games

I also participated in a gem mining activity, where I could uncover sparkling stones filled with mystery. The duck races were equally thrilling, with plenty of lanes for families to compete against each other.

If you’re looking for a challenge, try navigating the corn maze, where you’ll find yourself lost among the towering stalks of corn, trying to find your way out. It’s so much fun! And when you’re feeling tired, hop onto a hayride to explore the farm with ease.

If you’re in the mood for some bouncing, don’t miss the pumpkin-shaped jump pad. I had a blast jumping up and down with my family. The kids especially loved diving into a giant corn pool, where the fun never seems to end!

Classic Games and Tasty Treats

Stepping into the Western-themed play area felt like a trip back to the Wild West with exciting games. I couldn’t resist the thrill of sliding down the giant slides—the wind in my hair made my heart race!

A must-visit spot is the petting zoo, where I got to meet some adorable and gentle animals. By the end of the day, sipping on a refreshing apple slushie was the perfect way to wrap up our visit, making it feel like autumn was in my cup.
