Discover Huttopia Paradise Springs, where you can enjoy a luxurious glamping experience in nature, just a short drive from Los Angeles.

Explore Huttopia Paradise Springs

Huttopia Paradise Springs is a renowned glamping campsite that offers a perfect blend of nature and modern comforts amidst the stunning San Gabriel Mountains. Located just about 90 minutes from Los Angeles, this campsite feels like a hidden paradise tucked away in the mountains.

Spanning an impressive 150 acres, Huttopia is not only a relaxing retreat but also a site rich in history. During Prohibition, it was a popular escape for California's elite seeking fun and leisure. However, after alcohol was legalized in 1933, the site lost its charm due to financial struggles during the Great Depression.

In 1965, the area was transformed into a Christian family camp with strict regulations. It remained a Christian camp for 35 years before becoming part of the Huttopia brand in 1981.

Luxurious Glamping Experience

Huttopia Paradise Springs offers more than just camping; it provides a luxurious glamping experience. The tents are designed with wooden frames and canvas, equipped with amenities like electricity, comfortable beds, and optional private bathrooms. You can choose the Trappeur Duo Pacific Coulter Pine tent, which boasts 350 square feet of cozy living space.

Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of a babbling brook just outside your tent is an unforgettable experience. You can also unwind on the porch and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Perfect Location Near Hiking Trails

One of Huttopia's highlights is its proximity to several famous hiking trails in the Angeles National Forest. During my visit, I enjoyed hiking the Mount Baden-Powell Trail, which stretches about 8 miles and offers breathtaking views.

Moreover, this area is just a short distance from other popular trails, saving you time and the hassle of finding parking.

French-Inspired Cuisine

The culinary experience at Huttopia Paradise Springs is also noteworthy, with a restaurant serving delicious dishes made from organic ingredients. Be sure to try their oven-baked pizzas and renowned crêpes.

Start your day with a traditional French breakfast, featuring fresh bread with butter and jam, croissants, and healthy options like fruit smoothies and acai bowls. It's important to note that the area is quite isolated, so if you plan to prepare your own meals, stock up on supplies in Wrightwood before arriving.

Helpful Information for Vietnamese Travelers

To reach Huttopia Paradise Springs, travelers from Vietnam can fly from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) or Hanoi (HAN) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The flight typically takes around 16 hours. Currently, Vietnam does not require a visa for Vietnamese citizens traveling to the U.S. for under 90 days, but it’s advisable to check the latest information before your trip.

Prices for a night at Huttopia Paradise Springs range from $150 to $300 (approximately 3,500,000 - 7,000,000 VND), depending on the type of tent and the season. The best times to visit are in spring (May to June) or late summer (late August to October) for more pleasant weather.

There are no grocery stores near the resort, so be sure to bring your personal items or shop in Wrightwood before your arrival.
