Fun-Filled Weekend with Free Coffee
If you're a coffee lover looking for an exciting weekend, the Weekend Brew Club is an event you won't want to miss. Taking place on May 9 and 10 at Toa Payoh, followed by May 15 and 16 at Bras Basah, attendees will be treated to free coffee and a host of engaging activities.
Special Activities at Toa Payoh
At Kim Keat Palm, the Weekend Brew Club will transform the space into a charming retro meeting spot from 9 AM to 3 PM. Enjoy mahjong-themed games, a free coffee buffet, and a variety of snacks waiting for you. This event is not just about coffee; it’s also a great opportunity to connect with the community.
Indulge in a Free Coffee Buffet
Coffee enthusiasts can't miss the chance to experience the coffee buffet at the Weekend Brew Bar. Featuring a delightful blend of traditional Nanyang coffee and Western brews, you can sample a range of delicious coffees for free until supplies last. This is one of the most unique and exciting activities happening in Singapore this month.
Exciting Mahjong Games
If you love mahjong, join in the mini games themed around this classic game without the need to place bets. Participate for a chance to win exclusive vouchers and simply enjoy some fun with friends. It’s also a wonderful way to immerse yourself in local culture.
Creative Workshops
The Weekend Brew Club also offers three hands-on workshops where you can create coffee and mahjong-themed souvenirs. This is a perfect activity for families, especially those who enjoy creative experiences.

Live Music and a Relaxed Atmosphere
Throughout the event, seven DJs will spin Mandopop tracks and hits from the 2000s. With upbeat music, you'll feel transported back to your school days filled with memories, creating a lively atmosphere for the entire event.
Additional Highlights
Alongside coffee, Toa Payoh will feature free snacks, a graphic print photobooth, and inspiring talks from stroke survivors. These highlights help foster a warm and meaningful community space.
Explore at Bras Basah
If you can’t make it to the Toa Payoh event or want to join again, the Weekend Brew Club will host a second session at Bras Basah Complex on May 15 and 16, from 1 PM to 7 PM. With an artistic and cultural vibe, this promises to offer you unique experiences.
Getting to Weekend Brew Club
At Toa Payoh, you can easily reach the event via MRT from Braddell or Toa Payoh stations, then take bus number 238. For Bras Basah, the nearest MRT station is Bras Basah, just a short walk away.
Useful Information for Vietnamese Travelers
When attending the Weekend Brew Club, you won’t have to worry about visas, as Vietnam and Singapore are both ASEAN members, allowing citizens to enter for short stays without a visa (maximum duration is 30 days). Participation costs are minimal; just spend at least 5 SGD at partner outlets to receive an entry ticket. The exchange rate is about 1 SGD to 17,000 VND, making this approximately equivalent to 85,000 VND.
I highly recommend attending the Weekend Brew Club if you're looking for a fun and refreshing activity for the weekend. With a variety of engaging activities and a friendly atmosphere, it will surely be a memorable experience.
